What courier to use for large item?

Hi there, I am selling a bike on ebay and wanted to offer postage as an option, other sellers seem to be able to post for around 20- 25 pounds, however I am searching for couriers and can only find ones costing huge sums of money.
The parcel weighs less than 20kg and has dimensions of 120x 30 x 90 cm
does any one know of a reputable courier who can offer a reasonable rate?
Any help would be appreciated,
Regards
Vicky

The volumetric weight would be 65Kg so quite expensive. I think parcelforce are about the cheapest at this weight/size.

Interparcel will do it via Citylink Next Day (cheapest service) for £27.99 + VAT and I have found them to be very reliable. Why not swing by the "Cheapest Parcel Delivery Thread Mk 4" for more quotes.

Why dont you message them as a potential customer and inquire who would deliver it, if you bought it?
  • Use Nightfreight! We told them we send 5 parcels a week and they charge us £7.75 + VAT for any parcel upto 6m long anywhere UK and as long as it goes into a box its still £7.75.

To give you some idea I regularly send boxes at work with 80KGs inthem and its still £7.75 and they also take hazardous goods!

    Nightfreight or Parcelforce!
