Funding Question

We are in the process of applying for grants etc for my middle son going to Uni this autumn. Now I am suddenly having a panic reading about 'household income'.
Am quite happy to be assessed on myself and husbands income (he is stepdad) but my eldest son still lives with us and works full time...... they won't include his income will they? I can't see any reason why he should be expected to support his younger brother at uni and he is hoping to move out sometime soon.
Hope this isn't a silly question. I haven't actually looked at the forms yet until I have my final income details for last year.
Why is it that financial forms fill me with dread?

Don't worry, your older son's income isn't included.

Yea they'll ask for financial information from parents.

I had to send away copies of both p60's, so you might want to start looking for those if you have them.

Ended up being a waste of time, for all the effort it required I got very very little extra, so haven't even bothered applying for income tested stuff in subsequent years.
