What flight simulator???? I think it will depend on the game as XP should recognise any joystick/pad you try.

Any joystick controller should work, you will get the best result from USB ones but so long as Windows detects it and you can configure it then you should be OK.

It will probably need calibrating in Windows Control Panel, then you will have to tell your Flight Simulator that you are using a joystick, probably in its options screen :)

    Have fun ;)

If it's a Microsoft one then you shouldn't have any problems configuring a joystick controller. Just plug it in, calibrate and setup in the XP control panel (there's a special control panel applet for configuration of such devices) and then run your flight simulator and pick your newly configured controller.

    Have fun :)

I've got one as well. It is very accurate and the planes are so precise it does take a while to learn. Once you know what to do you'll be flying Boeing 747s, unlike me still here in Cessnas
