Help with finding a vacuum cleaner please

I've been spending hours searching the internet trying to find a good vacuum cleaner to buy.

I'm after an upright, bagless, and not too heavy one. I don't fancy a Dyson as they are too heavy to carry up the stairs (and the price!).

If anyone has got one that they would recommend I would really appreciate your comments.

Thanks

Check out which. We have been subscribing for years and it has saved us loads of money. We replaced our vacuum cleaner last year from a rubbish Dyson (upright) and bought a cylinder MIELE 575 for £104. It is the best vacuum cleaner that I have ever owned and loads cheaper than my old dyson. I have a back problem which means that a cylinder is easier to use. Also, on the which tests cylinders out perform uprights.

    Good luck hope that helps

How about a Bissell? They're highly rated and you can save a fortune getting a reconditioned one direct from their site.

I recomment the Morphy Richards Ultralight Cyclone (73320 Series). It's bagless, upright, cheap & light & I got mine from Asda, I know Tesco had them in too not long ago. It comes with a spare belt & filter & has a two year parts & labour guarantee & also Asda's one year guarantee, also the 28 day guarantee if there's no fault & you just don't like it or whatever (If you buy from Asda). Also i've heard Morphy Richards have excellent customer service although I haven't had to test it yet!
