Does this sound right?

I have a neighbour who was claiming IB long term, she then went back to work under the 52 week link rules, claimed WTC and the disabilty part, then after 50 weeks finishes work saying she cannot cope and then gets her IB reinstated, she says after another 50 weeks of being on IB she will do it again thus ensuring she always gets the highest level of WTC! Is this really legal?

Not sure about the tax credits part but there are linking rules for IB which mean that you can go back to it at the same rate of benefit that you left it at if you returned to work.

She will still have to pass the PCA, so if she is not genuinely unwell she will be found out.

    Neighbours + benefits/salary + ego + lifestyle = Pinch of salt.
