I'm doing what you asked with Malwarebytes. It's running just now and picked up nothing so far.
However I have had the program for years - it's not a recent addition. I've rund AdAware, SuperAntiSpyware and Spywareblaster.0 -
'maybe' yours is fine then (Though im not saying it is for sure). But certainly dont advise anyone else of using it as it looks well dodgy to download these days:idea:0

Just ran a quick scan with malwarebytes and it showed no infections. Now running a full scan so will let you know. But certainly dont advise anyone else of using it as it looks well dodgy to download these days
No problem.
So should I tick the middle two in HJT for the moment? (the two entries beginning 02)0 -
yep ~ should be fine then:idea:0

OK - thanks.
Should I still run the avg removal tool as well?0 -
yes you should. Hijack is only a light program showing basics. There will certainly be more AVG running elsewhere:idea:0

Looks like my WinDates is an earlier, non-infected one.
I've fixed the two items in HJT and will run the avg remover shortly.
