Oshay.............lol..............."Everyone is entitled to an opinion"......yep you are correct....and it's mine , IC are bandits thank you.

"How sad it would be if someone was put-off taking out CIC as a result of being influenced by someone with a bias viewpoint...and then suffer a claimable event"........what planet are you on.........are you trying to imply my negative thoughts would deter someone from making their own desicions?............rubbish.

90% of claims paid out........ok please explain to the veiwers off stage" how Insurance companies continue to make millions and millions of Pounds in profit AFTER paying all these 90% (ABI figure)claims", to say nothing of the percetage fee's they pay to lets say IFA....lol..........oh and of course they pay for the GP's time......oh and of course they have to pay protection money to the ABI,

Let me see...................do bandits really wear masks...lol.........Osh, I'm going to let you sit on the bench this week.

Mum............ you are speaking fron personal experience thanks for saying, in your experience they played the game, and thats comforting to hear.

I was trying to apply a little balance. You hijacked this post started by lightspeed who inquired about the prospect of taking out critical illness cover, which he was "considering". Your post concluded with the words; "in my opinion CI is not worth the paper it is written on." The whole reason for the post was to request advice (I'm not going to get into the in's and out's about providing advice on a forum), from individuals who use this forum. Your reply states nothing positive about CIC and I personally perceive it to be unbalanced... and frankly... biased.

You are entitled to your opinion, I respect that and would not for a second state that your comments are 'rubbish' as you refer to mine. My post was a word of warning and yes, why wouldn't your comments deter someone? Surely that is the reason that you are slating critical illness cover / insurance companies / ABI on these threads?

Ok, I'll explain. 90% of claims does not mean 90% of policies. Is that clear enough? Regarding insurance companies making a profit, what would you rather, that they make a loss?

Yes but Oshay.........I aint going to fall out about this.......but there is no need for you to apply a little balance to MY reply, as naturally there are opposing views to mine , and these views would create balance.

You are obviously a well educated not daft fella or woman etc, but you aint the balance police.

I spoke from my experience as a consumer have you?

ok.......rubbish possibly to stong a word...........and I'm sorry I said it in that manner, believe me it was a little tongue in cheek.

I do however refute that my experience and left me with the belief the CI aint worth the paper its writen on, or that my "opinion" would stop or even deter any adult from making their own decision to avoid taking out CI insurance etc etc because it wouldn't.

Im a cyber writer for crists sake not a finacial wizard, I just happened to be shafted with a very large stick by the IC and.........at every verse I'm going to try and shaft them back, and yes I know I'm wasting my time but ..........I dont trust them.....ending

It was an my opinion, I gave it, and I stand by it.

So how are you trying to do that? By taking business away from them? They won't feel an effect but if you are even slightly successful and your voicing your negative experience results in one person not taking out cover, are you doing them any favours if they suffer a claimable event but are uninsured?

Well im going to shout about my negative experience of course futhermore I am contemplating writing to every newspaper in the country, to see if others are interested...will it matter to them.........no it wont........it would if others did the same though.......and someone has to start the ball rolling.

So............heres you playing a moral card implying that a individual may be influenced by a cyber fella.......your funny now.

I have no financial incentive to state my thoughts and I have no vested interest in promoting Insurance policies, Do you Oshay?

Ok Pedro I'm staying out of this now. I'm suprised that you think it's "funny" to suggest your barrage of negative comments could possibly have an effect on someone when by your own admission your are posting to try and "shaft" insurance companies.

You seem to loose more tenability with each comment. I'm sorry to hear that you had a claim declined but I hope the message people get from hearing about it is to take advice, as questions to ensure they understand the cover and their reponsibility of full disclosure when filling out a application form.
