Balance transfer from credit to debit card?

Can I do a balance transfer from a credit card to my dads debit card?

He recently paid my final payment on my car and I want to do a balance transfer from my new virgin 0% over 16 months to his account to pay him back.

Thanks for your help.

I'm not sure if you can due a balance transfer to someone else's bank account but you can do one to your own and then just give him the money.

If you actually did this, the money would flow in the opposite direction, from your dad's card to your Virgin account.

You can transfer cash from your Virgin card to your current account (or your dad's) which, given the context, is what I think you mean.

On receipt of your new card, you can request the transfer of funds to your current account (or his). It's best to do this when you call to activate the card. (There's a dedicated, Freefone number).

Virgin will allow you to transfer up to 95% of your credit limit. The money arrives in your bank account in about 6 days

P.S. You cannot do this with any credit card. Virgin is one of the few credit cards with this capability.

Yes, I have the Virgin card.

There's a 2.98% handling fee, but no other charges during your Introductory 0% period, provided that you request the transfer of funds within the first 60 days of
    account opening ;)
