I've searched on here but haven't seen this question asked before.
For some reason I'm no longer able to hightlight text, click and cut, copy and paste. I'm using an Advent laptop running Vista.
I've resarted and restored to a few days ago but this has made no difference.
Any ideas from one of you out there to help me sort this out?

Left button faulty. Left/Right buttons swapped. Try the SHIFT + Cursor keys0

Thank you Total. Using the SHIFT and cursor keys works which is great.:D
My son mentioned that he thought my left and right buttons were swapped. Any idea why or how to get them back again?

Well by now you should have sorted it, if not, look in control panel and then check out the MOUSE settings. Good luck.0
