Hi
Can anyone recommend a good farm shop in the Caerphilly/Cardiff area?
Am really looking for one that sells as much local produce as possible.

There is a farm shop on the road up to Caerphilly Mountain - from the GE factory. I think they do local meat and veg.

There's a great farmers' market in Riverside Cardiff (across the water from the Millennium Stadium) every Sunday, 10-2. Some lovely stuff there - and great curries too!

Some of them have their own websites and farm shops if you'd like to get in touch direct - I know that Ty Mawr vegetables sell direct from the farm (the farmer is the one holding the cabbages on the Riverside home page!)
and they and many others attend other farmers' markets which might be more convenient for you.

there are a lot of PYO (pick your owns) etc if you drive along Newport Road through Rumney, St Mellons etc in the direction of Newport so I wouldn't be surprised if there were farm shops along there too

Not able to recommend any farm shops, but like previous poster use the Sunday Cardiff Riverside farmers markets when I can get there, or sometimes their other market in the Roath area on Saturday's if its easier, details on the home page below,
