I beleive you can claim back £45 from sheilas wheels using quidco.
Can someone explain what I need to do to get cashback as cannot understand below jargon?
Please read the following before proceeding:
IMPORTANT:
Cash Back: In order to receive the cashback/reward points you must click through to the Sheilas Wheels site via the provided link. It is important that you then generate a new quote and purchase directly. If the quote has been generated via another site (such as a comparison site) or advertisement, the sale will not be attributed to the cashback site and you will not receive your cashback.
Fraudulent Transitions: esure Services Ltd reserve the right to cancel any policy that is deemed to be fraudulent. This may be due to incorrect or false personal details, bank account details, contact details and/or false address details.
***PLEASE NOTE: ENQUIRIES CANNOT BE SUBMITTED TO US UNTIL 75 DAYS AFTER YOUR TRANSACTION DATE. YOU THEN HAVE UP TO 30 DAYS IN ORDER TO SUBMIT YOUR ENQUIRY TO US. The network will not accept any enquiries older than 105 days.***
Any policy queries must be submitted with your full name, postal address, date of birth, policy number, policy type, policy date and premium. The cashback rate is offered by Quidco; any cashback queries should be taken up with the site, not esure.
Validation of policy may take up to 75 days.
MANY THANKS
PAUL

If you don't understand all that, then the best advice about using quidco is not to buy anything solely based on the cashback element, as it is never guaranteed and (especially with insurance for some reason) if Quidco don't get paid, then the customer doesn't, is "stuck" with the policy and has no comeback.
Otherwise if there is a specific query, you can contact quidco for clarification.0 -
You cannot get the cashback if you're a customer now; you have to take out the policy through Quidco. Basically you make an account on Quidco, and find Sheila's Wheels on that site. 'Clicking through' to Sheila's Wheels basically means using the link from Quidco to reach the Sheila's Wheels site. There will be a link that says something along the lines of "Click here to visit this merchant and earn cashback". Click on that and you'll go the Sheila's Wheels website. Then get a quote and take out insurance as normal, and it will 'track', eventually giving you cashback. But as Quentin said, it is not definite, and shouldn't be absolutely relied on."MIND IF I USE YOUR PHONE? IF WORD GETS OUT THATI'M MISSING FIVE HUNDRED GIRLS WILL KILL THEMSELVES."0

I was awarded cashback in August and have not had it yet.
Therer have been various anecdotes about them not paying out.
I am told by Quicdo that mine should come by May as they had a "system" problem.
But if you can get cashback elsewhere I'd say avoid this one as it has a definite question mark over it.
I have found LLoyds TSB very good at paying out (a couple of times) but you should base your decision to purchase on more than just cashback e.g. cover and bear in mind if you go direct rather than using a broker then YOU are responsible for answering all questions correctly and understanding the policy.
We get complaints on hereall the time from people who
1) Buy a policy on upfront price and then complain about other aspects e.g. costs to make amendments, poor sevice, high price of phone calls.
2) People complain because they didn't understand the finer points of the cover, but didn't use a broker and took that responsibility themselves.
So if you go direct make sure you actually READ at least the main points of the policy in the first 14 day cooling off period.
The booklet might be large, but you can read the titles and skip any sections that don't apply.0 -
Has anyone else had their cashback declined?
I took a brand new policy out with them the middle of April - the transaction has now declined on Quidco
I've read Quidco's explanantion of 'declined transactions' and I don't think none of them apply to me, I went through via Quidco, have cleared cookies, etc.
Obviously, I'll have to wait until the 75days to submit an enquiry which is obviously beyond the cooling period.
Anyone else had this experience?
Slightly miffed to say the least....shame on me for not researching about them further! Thats £45 down the drain when I could have earned via another insurer :mad:0
