Bad for UK consumers, what will this do to Toshibas levels of support and service in the Uk? - which is currently top notch.
Bad for british jobs and our economy. I don't suppose you mind though. Another one gone thanks to to gordons miracle economy.0 -

Nope. why? does my post imply that? Just pointing out that it's good for Poland.......obviously it's Bad for Plymouth but I didn't feel the need to repeat that.
I make my own job so don't feel able to comment further on your remark.
It's an interesting idea. Could you offshore yourself?
I bet Plymouth people buy loads of imported stuff because it's cheaper. If they do that they can hardly complain the company they work for does the same thing!
I can feel a poll coming on.0 -

I can feel a poll coming on.
Just saw the poll.....busy making things today but will elaborate later tonight.
Could I offshore? Probably, but a lot of good reasons why I won't at the current time.....none to do with cost.
I just saw BB post on the poll thread...similar kinds of issues.0 -
Plymouth is so horrible.
Plymouth's OK except for the litter everywhere and the fact that it is a bit remote.I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0 -
Its a free market in Europe and I would rather my job ended up in Europe then in Bangalore where our company has relocated a certain department and anther one to the Philippines. If you need a visa to work in this country then your job should not be shipped out to that country as to me its the same if I employed an illegal immigrant I would be fined £5k or whatever it is now.I assume you would be of the same opinion should YOUR Job be transferred somewhere else within the EU ?? :rolleyes:0
