  • Now that Poland and Slovakia and the like are in the EU why wouldn't you relocate production there and save a packet? Its called a free market.

I see no ships, only hardships...

    ... I'll get my coat.

youve got thousands in savings in the bank and come on here moaning about poverty. its a disgrace when there are people out there who are really in trouble and your on here moaning cos you decided to become scrooge and live on tins of beans, your version of gruel, while your thousands and thousands of pounds sits in the bank.

you make me laugh. spend some money and get a decent meal and stop moaning. its boring. you decided to sell your house to try and take advantage of people who are having the misery of reposession so that you could geta cheaper home. excuse me if I dont cry when I read that youve no income and living of beans on toast. you made that choice, other people are doing the same but not out of choice.

when you finanlly bag your bargain youll be sitting pretty in your new house that someone else lost. youll be happy but they will still be miserable.

you scrooge. stop trying to get sympafy, you deserve to go hungry cos your trying to take advantage of poor people. STR? not working for you is it and im glad.

    Plymouth is so horrible.

Bit of a sweeping statement! Yes, there are some ugly areas of Plymouth that were built straight after the war..... but to say the whole city is horrible?!

Great Britain, once upon a time it was Great for a reason.. now the name is just an echo.

Just as a matter of fact, the reason Grande Bretagne was called Grande Bretagne was the same reason as we have Peasbody-on-the-Marsh and Greater-Peasbody-on-the-Marsh. It wasn't anything to do with stature, it was to do with relative geographical position.

So putting the "Great" back into "Great Britain" is really just asking us to reestablish ourselves as a geographically outlying part of the greater Norman Empire. Which I'm guessing is not the intention of those invoking this peculiar notion of greatness.

In a post earlier she pulled me up on my spelling and was far, far funnier than me. It's not on.

so a jap company relocates its building work to poland , its not a britsh company and we werent buying british products.!!!!!! we moan when we bail out the british banks and safegaurd our ecomony , theres no winning.

Perhaps we should not be putting our money into foreign banks savings accounts , nor buying foriegn company cars or having costa del blackpool holidays abroad.Investing in our country is longtermism , short termism is privatisation making the few richer at the expense of the worker , safegaurding is keeping our pound within our shores and supporting ourselves....some call that protectionism , i call it sensible.

We choose ethical goods and service that protects the poor around the world , perhaps we should do the same looking for the union standard on our products and banks for our own workers ethical treatment.Refusing to do business with any bank that keeps its business hq overseas despite claiming to be british to simply avoid paying tax doesnt count as being british.Refusing services from those that use overseas call centres at the expense of british workers for the sake of profits for share holder dividends.

You cant have it both ways britain , you choose foriegn for cheaper than brit goods or services , or you choose brit ones which will cost more in the short term but pay us all dividends in the long term.

Make sure you change your bank accounts to the ones bailed out , your next car is at least made here seeing as how we have no car makers that arent british owned and your bills are all from brit companies.Germany does it , france , italy why not us.

theres two letters missing from making great britain great again , u and s which spells us.
Have you tried turning it off and on again?
