    yep sony is the best

    i have one of those models, superb sound and they actually look quite good i think, ok so u have the nasty speaker to look out but thats why the sounds so brilliant!

    My mum picked up a 37 inch Sharp in Currys for £400 a few months back, so I would say the prices you have seen so far are over priced. If you can wait for the next sale or negotiate in store and see what deal you can get.

    I think its widly accepted that Pioneer are the best TVs, but Sony are a close second:p

    Sorry need to correct my message above, was around my Mum's today and the tv is a LG not Sony. Price mentioned is correct. Sorry for misleading information.

    Other thing I should mention is Mum took out 5 year insuarance which was £130 I think. I onl have a small car so managed to negotiate FOC delivery.

    well i thought that but my own experiences give me a differing opinion.

    besides pioneers are more expensive for similar specs that arnt always actually better than sonys (in my experience)

    but as you said it is widely accepted so i might have just had a bad pioneer product...
