To sell or not to sell

Hi All,
Had a clear out last night and found 4 books that i think might be worth a little bit of cash from research about £120 for all of them.
I have three Noddy books from the 1960's and one is a 1959 first edition, i also have a 1904 print of Charles Dickens Great Expectations and Hard times.
Now they havent been read for years and definately have seen better days, i managed to salvage them when i escaped my parents and when i escaped ex H.
So, do i sell or do i keep them? In time it is likely they will be deteriorated more and will just follow me from place to place and i could use the money to buy a desperately needed new laptop. But i have this romantic idea that one day i could pass the Noddy books onto my kids and the Dickens one when they are adults.
So, to sell or not to sell, that is the question!

Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -

Thanks Fay, I love them too, used to have whole sets but they remained in my parents house and i hear have now been destroyed so these are all i have left.
But then, needs must and if i cant get a new laptop this month then ill have to wait for about 6 to save up and that means i cant do any course work outside of work hours which basically means i wont do any at all since im so busy, decisions decisions0 -
If they are likely to deteriorate more then I would sell them however, I would seriously research their prices first as you may be disappointed. I was selling 1900s editions of famous works and fetching around £2 a piece, I also bought some from auctions and would expect to pay no more than around £1 a book.
The most likely one to be worth money is the Noddy one, hopefully it has a DJ which can date it and you might find this guide useful :

There's another guide here as well:

One other thing, the run of the mill Noddy hardbacks from the 1960s also have no real value as they are not uncommon, so maybe they would be nice to keep as a memento?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Keep you favourite one to pass on and sell the others if you need the cash.Or you could keep them all and find some way to get access to internet after work, libraries and community centres often offer free internet access in the evenings."Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0

Thanks Soolin, I used the ebay guide to check the books last night, and one is defiantely a first edition but the spines are cracked. Maybe my estimate is a little out lol.
I have to confess i have just looked at them again, and read one of the stories, and um i think in my heart i want to keep them. Sorry guys if ive wasted your time.
I would rather keep them and just love them as something from my childhood and then see if i can find anything else to flog.
Thanks guys

Frankly if they aren't worth a great deal I would keep them and enjoy them.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thanks she, the main problem is the word processer etc, i am dyslexic and hate it when people can see the miss spelt words all underlined in red.
