Retrieving sent e-mails from Hotmail

Ok' thicko alert :o how do I retrieve e-mails that I have sent through Hotmail? When I click on sent messeges I keep getting 'There are no messages in this folder'. Can anyone suggest how I go about finding them ???

    How old were those sent messages? they tend to get deleted after 30 days

    Shopping Tips
    Don't spend five pounds to dry clean a shirt. Donate it to the charity shop instead. They'll clean it and put it on a hanger. Next morning buy it back for two pounds.

    When you sent your emails, did you save a copy to the Sent folder? It doesn't do it automatically.

    I was looking for an e-mail that I'd sent yesterday & no I don't save a copy to the Sent folder as I didn't know you could :o
