In a city centre there isn't a side street that isn't metered!!! I battled for six months shifting the car about and to be honest ended up with tickets/paying at the meter etc and probably spent as much. It isn't because the car's valuable, just because that's all there is. Like I say, I want rid as soon as I can do public transport!!Debt at LBM July 2013: [STRIKE]£46,085.88[/STRIKE] Debt today: £36,501.67

Just been looking at your cards, I understand that you can't get new credit to lower the amounts. That's fair enough. But is there any way you could transfer some of the balances around ? I'm thinking shift the Oasis debt onto the Amex card. That would mean you would be saving money on the interest if nothing else. At the minute with the small amount your paying off the oasis card and the high interest you can't be getting rid of that card pretty quickly? Just so if you can juggle the amounts around to save you some interest money.0

The Amex was an introductory offer, so transferring balances would be higher now, but probably much cheaper, you're right. Will have a looksee when at home later.....Debt at LBM July 2013: [STRIKE]£46,085.88[/STRIKE] Debt today: £36,501.67

Thanks Jacey! It's taken me ages to get to the SOA stage myself, never seemed to have the time/courage to really sit down and write it all out....Debt at LBM July 2013: [STRIKE]£46,085.88[/STRIKE] Debt today: £36,501.67

Sounds lovely Silaqui! It's my boyfriend's birthday on Monday but he knows I'm skint, so I got a DVD cheap from Blockbuster (£3) and I've promised to make him a nice dinner tonight - it's the thought that counts!!
Time for the ironing first though......Debt at LBM July 2013: [STRIKE]£46,085.88[/STRIKE] Debt today: £36,501.67
