Wow Sue, you are doing really well! That's great! We are all going to have to try harder to keep up! LOL!

Focus, I hope we will be ok on my hubby's pay, we are going to see what we can claim benefitswise as well, so it should be ok. It just feels wierd that I won't have a job anymore, but it's a relief too cos now I can take life at my own pace. I can't really get my head around it all at the moment

I must must must pick up some of those money bags from the PO/Bank.

I only saved 1p - 2ps .. but the bags I did put them in (which are no good to hand in) .. there were £15 worth .. plus I have a half full one of those giant whiskey bottles to count up.

I DID .. have a sealed tin which I haaaad to open for my son the other day :wall: .. there was £30 in pound coins in there.. thats all gone now :wall:

I wish I hadn't opened (can opener) it was 'perfect' for this.

    Jo, I've PM'd you.

Eupho, you are doing well. Could you reseal the tin somehow and carry on using it?

If any new friends would like to join in just let me know and I will add you to the list

Hello, hope everyone's had a good weekend and enjoyed the bank holiday. We went to see my mum and dad and sister yesterday and had a really nice time. DH fell asleep in the car on the way home which was really sweet! I thought only toddlers did that!

Went to the post office today. Broke into a £5er so can put about £4 of change in the pots. Also had some change in my purse that I'd forgotten about so that can go in there too.
