I used elephant when i renewed last month. Found that they where the cheapest via confused.com and a it of tweaking using elephants website made it even cheaper.

Tried phoning loads of companies but none seemed to budge on the prices advertised online. Aviva (norwich uninon) even rang me up after i did a online quote but refused to move on price despite being a whopping 3x more expensive than elephant!!!! They offered in mitigation that they were normally quite competitive (to which i told them thats great news but doesn't mean i'm gonna pay you £1000 extra).

+1 this saved me a few hundred quid. Just adding by adding my mum despite the fact that she'll never drive my car. But it can be anyone at all.

Adrian Flux are not to bad, be aware that if you cancel your policy with them the cancellation chearge can be very high. They also tend to use Highway who are in my opinion an average Insurer
