THIS IS NO JOKE
IF A PERSON CALLED SIMON ASHTON ( SIMON25@HOTMAIL.CO.UK ) CONTACTS YOU THROUGH EMAIL DON'T OPEN THE MESSAGE. DELETE IT BECAUSE HE IS A HACKER!!

TELL EVERYONE ON YOUR LIST BECAUSE IF SOMEBODY ON YOUR LIST ADDS HIM THEN YOU WILL GET HIM ON YOUR LIST. HE WILL FIGURE OUT YOUR ID COMPUTER ADDRESS, SO COPY AND PASTE THIS MESSAGE TO EVERYONE EVEN IF YOU DONT CARE FOR THEM AND FAST BECAUSE IF HE HACKS THEIR EMAIL HE HACKS YOUR MAIL TOO!!!!!...

Anyone-using Internet mail such as Yahoo, Hotmail, AOL and so on. This information arrived this morning, Direct from both Microsoft and Norton. Please send it to everybody you know who has access to the Internet. You may receive an apparently harmless e-mail titled 'Mail Server Report'

If you open either file, a message will appear on your screen saying: 'It is too late now, your life is no longer beautiful.'

Subsequently you will LOSE EVERYTHING IN YOUR PC,
And the person who sent it to you will gain access to your name, e-mail and password.

This is a new virus which started to circulate on Saturday afternoon. AOL has already confirmed the severity, and the antivirus software's are not capable of destroying it .

The virus has been created by a hacker who calls himself 'life owner'.

PLEASE SEND A COPY OF THIS E-MAIL TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS, And ask them to
PASS IT ON IMMEDIATELY!

Seriously saying the anti-virus would not pick it up is a load of bull.

If it was real i am sure norton etc would get it added in the next update (which is daily anyway)

Do you lot remember the whole MSN is closing one! LMAO and the link to the BBC.

It's just a shame it's not a real virus, we could all forward it to the email scammers...
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

The ones I get most are the various urban myth ones with the usual 'tell everyone' print in foot high letters..yeah right, as if I want to lose all my computer savvy friends!

I go further than saying these viral emails are annoying, I think they are in themselves nasty and vicious and 'friends' that send them to me tend to get a rather grumpy reply back. I will never forgive someone for printing one off and giving it to my dear MIL and frightening her half to death. It was the one about foreign burgulars hacking into the green BT boxes and listening through your home phone to tell if you went out so they could break in and wait for you to get back..it had the added bonus of suggesting that calling anyone to ask them to come over just notified these people that you were on to them..and my MIL sat in terrified silence for more than 24 hours till that appalling neighbour admitted it was a internet hoax.

There is a general rule of thumb that any email that says "This is no joke, pass it on to all your friends" will be a chain-email that you should delete. If you do pass it on, all you will be doing is clogging up people's in-boxes with garbage.
