I to have be in touch with this company Cartel, I was advised the following,
1) I would have to pay £495 for each loan reviewed and £175 for each
credit card after that.
2)If successful I have have to then pay a further 30% of the debt been
wiped off for solicitors fees (which could be payed back monthly)
3)The hole proccess could take upto one year during which time monthly
payments would still need to be paid, these payments could not be
reclaimed.
I (like everyone else) am trying so hard to become debt free, taking very road possible. I have read we do not need to go with these companies we can take our own cases to the courts, is there anyone on here that has gone down this road themselves or has any stories to tell and advise to give? If we can do this ourselves, I am very interested in starting the process and seeing what the outcome can be, by helping ourselves and each other we can do this without paying out large amounts of money we dont have to companies that are to happy to take it in the first place. Does anyone know of any template letters we can use or people we can go to for further advice on reviewing our loans and credit card agreements to see if it is possible to wipe off the remaining debt?
Thank you for any help or advice.
