Ebay scroll help please

Hello, I am well used to using ebay but just lately when I look at a list of items, click on one of them and then return to the list my scroller will only take me to the top of the page instead of stopping at the item I looked at. This is driving me mad!

I emailed ebay - they suggested that I use the backspace - I tried but no difference.

I'm sure I read about this probem somewhere recently..... Can anyone help me?

I use Windows XP and mozilla firefox.

I find that I must click 'back to list' rather than just the 'back' icon to stop at the correct place in the list.....sorry, not 'techie' at all, but this works for me.

Not really a solution, but I always right click > open in new tab, then you can just close the new tab to return to the original list

Thanks for your replies. I do usually use the "back to list of items" but the result is the same! I'm going to try to remember to use your idea, Jon Turner.
