When Halifax Regular Savings matures, remove from web saver account ASAP

I don't have that option either. The Web Saver account is not active (not "clickable") because there is no money in it. It will become active (presumably) on the anniversary date when the reg saver is swept into it.0

You don't want to have your maturing Regular Saver funds fired off in to a banking black hole for a few days because your nominated account isn't operational.0 -
My websaver has nothing in it at this point either but then I was never made aware that I had put anything in it.
If the web saver account is there then there should be no reason why the money to be transferred would go into a holding account until it finds a home........or is there? Maybe I will contact them, thanks.0 -

You just don't want to take the risk. Why not send £2 and transfer £1 out to test FP ( if onward bank allows it)?
It does say minimum opening balance £1 on the website.0 -
I have an Instant Saver attached to mine. I can't do transfers over the internet from it (I don't have a Halifax Current Account) so I'll need to go into the branch and take the money out over the counter. Hassle, but worth it for the 10%.0
