Hi all,

First post; any advice will be welcomed.

I have recently come across the sum of £10k. I am in full time education so therefore understand tax is not payable up to a certain amount? [does this apply to savings?]

I am looking to maximise my returns from this money and am not sure what is the best method. Whether i should save in multiple accounts or not etc.

Thanks in advance,

Harry

:)

If i can avoid it, id like to keep it in there for 4 years. I work weekends, and i assume i will become a taxpayer after i graduate in 4 years.

How long are you going to keep the money for? Do you have a partime job? How long before you become a taxpayer?
