do I need to save with an ISA

Hi I am now retired and dont pay tax on my interest so should I still have an ISA or just put in into a fixed bond Annie

If you're a non-taxpayer Annie, and you're not going to be a taxpayer in the future, then you're right.
There's no advantage at all going for an ISA over anything else, unless I suppose it wins on interest rate (ha ha)!0 -
Just compare all the ISA rates with the gross rates of all other products. Unless the ISA has a better rate, it's much better going for the fixed rate bonds. That's what I did when I was a student!Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0

not sure... ISAs don't need to be declared to the tax man and don't count for some benefits .. but I'm not very knowledgeable about benefits so you may need to consider this if you have any benefits (pension credits etc) that are income dependant0

Assuming interest rates are comparable, then at least with a cash ISA you will have no tax problems in future years should your non taxpaying status change
On balance go for the cash ISA as future proofingGardener’s pest is chef’s escargot0
