Yes yes yes hot tub! I have seen some where they room gives on to a balcony/decking with a hot tub on it so you could say it was outside! That would be lovely.

    So far I found this:

The Didsbury House.....In Didsbury has a lovely room with 2 baths! very romantic.http://www.didsburyhouse.co.uk/

It is linked somehow to the big one on St John Street in Manchester which has a room at the top with a blacony and a whirlpool on that! Very posh.

i am sure all this bickering over names is helping OP to choose somewhere special!

i love the look of ashmount house - must start saving up for the wifes OH b'day, although we do have a hot tub outstide at home (large inflatable with hot bubbles in - just for the pedants!) and no-one charges me a tenner to open the champagne bought from Tescos!

OP- hope you find what your looking for

    Ash
  • I am also looking for a hotel with a private hot tub/spa/jacuzzi (inside or out).

Anywhere on UK mainland in July for one night - the wife's birthday on 19th.

Ashmount is looking good so far.

    Subsoniccoyote,

I very highly recommend the 'Landmark London' on marylebone in London. You drive up outside and you are taken aback by the stunning building. You enter the massive reception which is covered head to toe in marble.

They have 5 restaurants in there I think and all are top notch. The rooms are something from another world. They are absolutely amazing.

We got a special rate from 'ratestogo.com' and only paid £140 per night instead of £300+. Our room had its own private hot tub/jacuzzi thing and I requested it to be surrounded by lit candles which it was. I always arranged the bed to be covered in rose petals which they did for me with no hesitation. Best part, they did it for free because it was my gf's birthday.

I have stayed there twice since at full rate and will continue to stay there on my trips to london.

The concienrge are very helpful and always go out of their way to acomodate us.

If you need any details feel free to PM me :)

As you can tell I can't rate them highly enough. It really is a 5* hotel unlike a lot of questionable 5*'s I have stayed in.
This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

    Thanks, looks good.

I was hoping not to travel that far as I am in Scotland.

Scotland, Norht & Central England and possibly Wales would be preferable.

There is one hotel in Cumbria that has themed rooms, and pretty much all of the rooms have log fires and hot tubs in them, will see if I can find the link, it looks gorgeous.

    Here you go, http://www.aphroditeslodge.co.uk/

We live in Lancs, and it only takes us about an hour tops to get to Bowness.
