My OH has just recieved her anual statement and it is less than half of what she should be getting. It matures next year. Is she to late to claim under the mis selling?
Just checked it out and she has been paying since 1994 and is getting back less than she has paid in. It is a Royal London Endowment Mortgage plan.

Over 75% of endowments are now time barred. So, there is a good chance its too late.
You have three years from first being notified of a high risk of a shortfall. The provider should tell you when the time bar runs out. Usually its on statements. Most become timebarred in 2007 and 2008. So, take a look at old statements to see what the time bar date is. If its not on there then you can ask them if its time barred.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only.
