Really old loan....

I had a complaint to deal with at work today regarding the mis sale of PPI on a loan sold 18 years ago! I have never had one as old as that before! I have dealt with a credit card from 1982 though... and boy was that fun!
Luckily the customer has copy of the loan agreement which I would have never been able to trace and I've had fun today laughing at the "policy booklet" (all 2 pages of it) that would have been used at the time of the sale. :rotfl:Compared to what is issued today it's unbelieveable.
It's quite interesting really because the policy that was sold is completely different to the ones I normally deal with because of the age of it.
So anyone with really old loans with PPI don't be disheartened from trying to claim because of the time that has elapsed since the loan was taken out.

Hi there
Wonder if that actual company are still running then, or if they were also linked to another, so far I have only found this below, but not sure if they are anything to do with the bank your complaining of:
Name & Registered Office:
FIRST NATIONAL CASH LIMITED
115 -117 BRADFORD ROAD
HUDDERSFIELD
HD1 6DZ
Company No. 05824488
Does this ring the bell?
Check the company number on any documents you may have and then go on to Companies house company search: Good luck.;)

Was the finance arranged by National Bank or a broker? The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Yes, the customer had a good argument for the mis selling with very specific and personal complaint points. :T0 -
