Hmmm, I thought something like this was going to happen with my HMV Ghost Recon order when I saw the order status as being back ordered (or something similar) even after the game's release.
I then received an email this morning confirming this, but then about 3 hours later received an email to advise the order had been shipped.
Doesn't help you though, sorry

Two fo mt friends got it no problem using the code- both delivered yesterday. They ordered theres on Friday.
There are other codes for £5 off on hot deals as is a £2 off on the hmv site.
Hmv usually have codes so I can see what the problem is.0 -
Thanks alot for the code, just what i neededCat72 wrote:Best deal for the game itself is from Hmv it is £39.99 less £5 discount codes makes it only £34.99 delivered. Great game as well, we have it
, brilliant graphics- best game so far on 360. The code is ge0001 which is for £5 off a £35 spend. Code is valid till 31/3/06 and is from hmvs instore leaflet.
[EDIT]
i put the code in the promo code box thing but it isnt giving me 5£ discount?0 -
It seem its not working now - try hotdeals voucher section as they have £5 off codes too- not alloweed to post them here.I have a £2 voucher code if you have problems that is issued for hmvs new website and is open to all customers rh2436 .0

slowen wrote:I meant 3rd party controllers in general as they dont tend to be that good so I would stick to the official ones. But it is each to their own considering 3rd party pads are normally around £10 cheaper than official ones or slightly more
I've had varied experiences of 3rd party controllers for xbox, gamecube, N64 and playstation - some trouble free and some good apart from occasional need to blow in the connection for some reason (dust?) when they won't do what they are told but also a few that were poor.
I noticed when reading an article about the Xbox 360 prior to launch however that MSoft were apparantly saying one of the reasons 3rd party accesories would be more expensive for the 360 were that MSoft were trying to maintain a higher standard of 3rd party accessory. Hence my query - thanks for getting back anyway slowen.
Anyone had any experience of the 3rd party controllers made specifically for Xbox 360?0
