  • For information regarding value of controller.

The price of wired controller elsewhere is usually around £25 for the Micosoft ones and for the licensed ones e.g.

£16.99 for a Joytech Neo Se at Comet

Joytech Neo £19.99 or Madcatz controller £19.99 at Currys.

I seen this offer myself in store yesterday but didn't pay a whole lot of attention to the brand but there aren't too many licensed product around yet for Xbox 360 and I think it could well be the Joytech one above.

Those are the online prices before postage.

I'm pretty sure it's the Joytech Neo Se. Doesn't seem a bad deal if you're in the market for a new controller as well. Will keep an eye out for a better price on the game itself

Best deal for the game itself is from Hmv it is £39.99 less £5 discount codes makes it only £34.99 delivered. Great game as well, we have it :p , brilliant graphics- best game so far on 360. The code is ge0001 which is for £5 off a £35 spend. Code is valid till 31/3/06 and is from hmvs instore leaflet.

Couldn't find any sign of the game in the Sheffield store. Bah! Shame I didn't keep the bit of the paper to check the details, but it wasn't my paper, so seem rude to tear a bit out!
Might order from Hmv, thanks :)

Thanks, have ordered from hmv. the toys r us offer is advertised on the website. so if someone is in the market for a second controller, it might be worth phoning up and checking if they have any in store.
also don't forget 6% quidco cashback from hmv

Pre-ordered from play.com for £39.99 but should have waited for the offer for the free pad even though some 3rd party pads are rubbish it is still an extra pad for you to use. Also agrre it is a great game and I picked up Fight Night Round 3 which is amazing

Do you mean 3rd party controllers for xbox 360 are rubbish or just 3rd party controllers generally?

I must agree that controllers are better if they are the officail xbox 360 controllers as we bought a unofficail controller( neo or something) from hmv and it was rubbish ! I used my student discount at hmv and bought a proper one instead. Great being a mature student !!

ps if anyone buying games from hmv get their game reward card and you can register it on line- so when you get your games cheaper with codes you also get loyalty points too.Only nee one more purchase for £5 off.

I meant 3rd party controllers in general as they dont tend to be that good so I would stick to the official ones. But it is each to their own considering 3rd party pads are normally around £10 cheaper than official ones or slightly more
