benefits and tax on intrest

No. They get annual returns for most of this stuff. Thus the 'omniscient' tax man knows exactly what we were earning in 1973 and so on...

I bet you wouldn't be laughing if you could see your hard-earned Income Tax deductions going direct to this man, if indeed he is thinking about defrauding the Benefits system.

When these forums were overhauled a few weeks ago, for a while in posts where there was "thanks" names, there was a link in the green rectangle at the right of that area that said something like "unthank". Did anyone notice? It would be useful to be able to do that if like you did, and clicked the "Thanks" button in error.
