Selling signed records...where?

in Ebay, auctions, car boot sales, post & parcels
I am trying to help someone out at work sell her large record collection. It includes quite a few un-played signed records. As has been previously posted on here, ebay is full of 'alleged' signed items, and so this must bring the price down as people are taking a chance on it being authentic, so where else is a good place to try to sell some of this stuff?

    Car boots are good for those kind of things and sell really well. You could try advertising them in a free paper like Ad Trader as well.
    No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one! :mad:

    cheers for the reply. Did not think car boots would get the money these are worth, it is people like the stones, PIL and blondie, not recent stuff. Please tell me if i am wrong.

    Wish I could help, but I wouldn't have the first clue either... I've been banned by my other half from selling anything I've got signed!

    Wouldn't touch the other half's signed stuff, value my life too much lol... He's banned me from selling my own signed records, says there are some things you just don't let go. I'm kinda glad he feels that way, as letting my records go would kill me at the moment! :)

    I'd have thought along the same lines as you. You'd get all sorts of cheap skates at car boots trying to haggle with you, looking it for ridiculous prices.
