using 26kw electricity per day, is this right?

Hi
Have just had bill from scottish power. i have a 2 bed terraced house, and there is nobody home during office hours. Scottish power say i use 26kw per day, we have no gas, is this right??? seems like a lot, bill total for year around £960

If you heat with electric (which I'm assuming you do given that you have no gas) then this is probably about right. Which is not to say you can't get the consumption down, of course, by looking at your usage patterns etc.Call me Carmine....

yes do heat with electric, oil filled radiators (2 in whole house)
the prices just seem to have shot up the last year or so.Smoke free since 30/01/13 :j0
