microSD disk not working ???

hi all ,

Just wondered if anybody has any ideas has to whats gone wrong , i can usually just put my sd card in the slot on my p.c and download my pic from my camera . But i have just tried to do this and nothing is happening ???? i tried to click help but my help and support for windows has disappeard ??? i have posted before about my help but never have managed to get it sorted .

is there a way to check that all ports on my p.c work , just a guess if so how do i do it ??

Does it appear in windows explorer? If not, you may have to write it off, the capacitors are so small, any shock or pressure can cause irrepairable damage.

Are you able to leave the card in the camera, and transfer to the PC via a USB cable?

Didnt think of that , but NO i have just tried looks like all ports not working

You might have to change your camera's settings to make it a host or whatever, instead of pictbridge iirc. My (admittedly a good few yeas old) camera will do one or the other.

got it to work now thankyou , the help and support had a registry key missing which ive now corrected and the ubs cable worked with the camera. thankyou x
