microSD disk not working ???

hi all ,
Just wondered if anybody has any ideas has to whats gone wrong , i can usually just put my sd card in the slot on my p.c and download my pic from my camera . But i have just tried to do this and nothing is happening ???? i tried to click help but my help and support for windows has disappeard ??? i have posted before about my help but never have managed to get it sorted .
is there a way to check that all ports on my p.c work , just a guess if so how do i do it ??
any ideas ???

Are you able to leave the card in the camera, and transfer to the PC via a USB cable?Stompa0

You might have to change your camera's settings to make it a host or whatever, instead of pictbridge iirc. My (admittedly a good few yeas old) camera will do one or the other.They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it0

got it to work now thankyou , the help and support had a registry key missing which ive now corrected and the ubs cable worked with the camera. thankyou x0
