Private feedback doesn't equal scammer. It's just some people don't want sellers to know what kind of things they buy, or how much they're willing to pay for the item.I've been bombarded with messages from newbies and the highest bidder has private feedback
If you're worried about the buyer, put their username in here: http://www.goofbay.com/ebay_bid_history_tool.html and see what else they've been buying.Back on MSE after a 5 year hiatus.

That said the chance are they wouldn't have agreed to pay her in cash without a fight. The insurance co has been a pain in the backside from start to finish.
They tried to get out of paying for the damage to the French doors that were smashed in the break in by saying sis's landlord had to claim on his building insurance unless there was a clause in her tenancy agreement that she had have insurance. When she gave them the tenancy agreement they decided that the doors weren't standard because they were hard wood and not uPVC so wouldn't pay for like for like replacements.
Aftersis argued her case they agreed they would arrange for new doors to be fitted but it would take 4-6 weeks for them to be made. Fast forward 6 weeks later and she's had no date for the new doors to be fitted, so she phones the insurance co back to find out what's going on. Then she gets a phone call to tell her she can't have hardwood doors because their supplier has let them down, so will she accept uPVC :wall:0 -
