Buyer opened PayPal dispute, can I claim from RM?

Hi, A customer of mine has opened a dispute because he didn't recieve the item. On the RM website, it says they left a While you were out card but the buyer says he never got this. The item is now saying 'being returned to sender' so can I claim my initial outlay back from the RM for the postage? I don't want to refund him fully if I don't get my postage back... Cheers

I doubt it as RM completed their side of the contract.

No, you can only get a refund if they didn't deliver the item or lost it, neither of which has happened. You could raise a query with RM as if they did not drop a card (I have definitely experienced that happening to me a few times and only caught the said item after collecting a different item delivered 2 weeks later at the PO by coincidence). But don't think you'll get more then a pack of stamps or whatever goodwill gesture they suggest.

Oh ok cheers. I will have to ask the buyer if they want to pay for re delivery then. Thanks
