Ideas of where to go for a special birthday

Thank you all for the suggestions. I want to go to the Amalfi region even more now. My birthday that can't be named is in September, and we are thinking of going for around 5-7 days. I did have a quick look at that area before but it did seem pricey. I'll have another look and see what I can find.

I'm hoping by going away it will take my mind off becoming that number!!
