Did anyone see this article from yesterday's Guardian online?

Sounds like a great concept and way to go to see your team for a fraction of the price.

I haven't, but my brother went to Manchester Utd. v Tottenham in the Carling Cup this year for about £45 and recommends it (Man U won!).
It's fairly normal in the US but the first time I've seen it here.
I'd be interested to know if anyone has made any money trading these contracts.0 -
Look like ticket touting for morons.
What are the Guardian thinking posting such utter rubbish.US housing: it's not a bubble

This has nothing to do with ticket touting. Here you get tickets cheaper than face value or can trade your contracts. Ticket touting is all about paying over the odds for tickets. Where's the connection?0

No, it is gambling to buy a ticket from a tout.
The analogy would be betting on your team to get to a final - lets say £10 at 25/1, then using the £250 to buy a ticket from a tout.
As there seems to be no liquidity whatsoever on the site - an offer to buy a CL final ticket for £50 and an offer to sell one for £825 (Man Utd contract), i think its safe to say this pitiful excuse for touting ain't doing to well.
Lets hope people don't lose money when it fails.US housing: it's not a bubble

Sounds like a tax on poor math skills and an overly trusting nature to me.If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything0
