Hello all,
Does anyone know if it is still possible to claim the petrol allowance
GYH(M) for 2 journeys home per month on a privately rented property? I understand it still possible if you have a mortgage on the property but unsure about rented.
Thanks in advance

Hello,
No, you can only claim the GYH(M) allowance if you show your admin staff 3 documents showing proof of ownership and occupation. Eg, mortgage agreement with your name on it, solicitors letter and council tax bill with your name on it.
