From doing mystery shopping I managed to get a job with one of the market research companies doing price checking once a week. This is a permanent thing, I've been doing it since 2005. Not too badly paid for a once a week job, £12 per catalogue and I do 5 catalogues each week. I also work in an after school club 5 days a week.

Any chance you could PM me with the company details please? I may already be with them but the one I do is monthly audits and I would love to do more. Thanks in advance if you are able to help.
Couldn't think of anything witty to say so just keeping the space until I can :(

Mystery shopping is where you are paid to visit a shop, restaurant, fast food place etc and report back to the company. I have done pub restaurants, airlines, supermarkets, pharmacies, shops, fast food places. You have to complete a questionnaire on things like the condition of the building from the outside, number of people on the till, number of customers in front of you in the queue etc. It can be quite time consuming filling in these bits, you can then report back online to the company. The pay isnt great per job, cant remember now, something like £5 or £10 per job but it adds up.
