Hello All,
I normally used to leave my money in NS&I and used to give me a monthly income. However, I am getting less than a quarter of what I used to get. Can anyone tell me:

- Where I would get the best rate monthly income. Or
- Where I could get the best rate and it won't let me touch it for a year etc.

West Bromwich Building Society's E Bond Issue 22 (1 Year Bond) pays 4.3%. If you invest £50,000 plus you can have the interest paid monthly. I wouldn't normally advise anyone to put amounts in excess of £50k into a single account due to the limits on the FSCS protection, but in this case putting £50,001 wouldn't cause any problem since the excess, ie the interest can be ported out of the account each month. Also, the protection is doubled to £100k in a joint account.Hello All,
