NS&I Pensioners Bonds - alternatives?

My Mum has had £15k invested in pensioners bonds for the last 3 years which gave her a monthly income which helped with the bills etc. We've now had a letter to day that the bonds are due to mature and the pensioners bonds have discontinued. So I've been given the task of finding a suitable alternative althoug I realise I'm not going to find anything offering the 5%+ interest she was getting. I just wondered if anyone else has any suggestions? She has been getting around £60 per month interest. Thanks in advance
