I've had a look and can't see a thread yet but if it's already been started please feel free to move it
I'm trying to be super money saving for the next few weeks as DD & DS1's birthdays are both in the same week in May  The menu has lots of old faithfuls on it as I don't want to make stuff that some of us won't eat. We are having:
Monday - Spaghetti Bolognese
Tuesday - Twice Baked Potatoes & Salad
Wednesday - Barbeque Chicken & Rice
Thursday - Pasta Bake
Friday - Meatballs & Spaghetti
Saturday - Spicy Bean & Lentil Loaf, Wedges & Salad (from this months Grocery Challenge)
Sunday - Roast Chicken, Roast/New Potatoes & Veg or Salad depending on the weather
Breakfasts are cereal, museli or toast.
Lunches are sandwiches, soup, things on toast or leftovers.
Snacks are things I have in the baking tin (sponge cake, Twinks hobnobs & scones usually) and fruit, smoothies, things from the lunch menu or dips & veggie sticks.
Hope that everyone has a good week cooking.

HiI just pop a pack of peanuts in the food processor with a little slug of vegetable oil then process until smooth, adding drops more oil as needed. TIt takes a few minutes to come to a nice consistency.

roasted or raw peanuts please? I might give this a go.People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

me too. I can't stand the stuff but dh loves it.
How long would it keep for (roughly)?0 -
rachbc - I use roasted salted value ones (I checked them against bought peanut butter before I first made it and saw there was little if any difference in salt content - sorry can't remember figures tho.) But I have also used raw organic ones which was very very nice.
bravobeastie - I'm not sure how long it would keep for tbh. I usually make a new small batch (1 pack of peanuts) every 3 weeks or so and it has always been fine - no ill effectsLove and compassion to all x0 -
