If you are going BR on 20th May then they haven't got time to get the CCJ. :)

If you should get any papers then just acknowledge the service which will give you nearly a month to respond. By then you will be BR. ;)

What is the time limitation on unsecured debts? I would think 6 years is close to it?

Like fermi says if you do receive court papers be sure to send back the Acknowledgment of Service within the correct time period stating you intend to defend the claim in full. This will give you an additional 14 days to get yourself bankrupt.

  • mercman yes 6yrs is correct if no contact from either side big mistake i made was paying a token payment if i had not do that and moved around as i have all my debts would of been written off there is a techinical name for it but dont know what it is. By paying a token paymnet i have acknowledge the debt.
