I do not recognise these numbers, and had to to unplug my phone to stop the repeated ringing- no one was on other end when I answered..
Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..

Do not ring the number back.It maybe the scam where you ring back and an automated voice says press 1 to speak to one of our operators or 5 to opt out from our calls.Once you press a button you get hammered with a big bill.0

If i get repeated calls from an unknown number (that doesn't have my area code or anything like that), i ignore it and just stick it in Google.
9 times out of 10 it's an advertising thing.0 -

An urban myth! There is NO way for such "reverse billing" to occur.
These are the call charges for all premium rate numbers, according to PhonePayPlus (ICTIS, as was);

If it is a scam/marketing/nuisance call then you can always check if it is listed here;

Seems you are not alone in receiving these calls, but no-one has yet identified the caller;

If you're with BT for instance you can block this number calling you.0
