Thanks - I was one who posted about my dad's house. We have got everything ready bar one statement from one building society (they are posting it today). Our form is filled in and we have been given an appoximate timescale of 4 weeks once they receive my form. The house is also being valued today. Then once I have been interviewed and got the grant of probate back I can put it on the market. So think I am looking at 2 months - very straightforward as I am sole executor and benificiary.
Again, as you said in the original post, would much rather the have my dad than any of this. I am so glad he didnt have a solicitor as a joint executor as this has allowed us to the form on our own.0
