Car Hire Australia

Me and my husband are planning to drive from Melbourne to Sydney in April, and we are looking at hiring a car for two weeks. Just wondering if there are any companies offering good deals or does anyone have a discount code for the care hire companies?

    Auto Europe is worth a try. We hired a car in Aus for 19 days about a year ago at a cost of just over £400 including all insurances and extra drivers. Also when we collected the car we were given a free upgade.

    We went with Europcar (aka Delta Europcar in Australia)... the best price at the time (June & July).

    Can't help you with the cheap deals but if you hire one from the airport it'll cost you a lot more. They usually have their offices about 5 mins away, maybe you can catch a bus or taxi to the hire office. Hope you enjoy Oz :D

    Try Holiday Autos - I got a basic, all-inclusive deal with them a few weeks ago for a car in California - £74 for three days, including all insurance, taxes, etc.
