How Long.........

Ok so i handed in all my paperwork for my rental on Wednesday along with the guarentor forms as well and my boyfriends paperwork. They asked us to get our own references to save time so got one off my work and because this is my 1st rental they just asked for a character reference which my mums friend did. How long does it take for them to process now?? What will they be checking for?? Should i ring this afternoon?? Im just eager to start sorting all my stuff out and dont want to start packing if im going to get refused :undecided

No problem now we are all set for 8th May passed everything xxxx
  • hi jojo.
it usually takes a couple of days to do all the checks.they will check your references ,probably credit check you and your partner.in our case they also dredit checked our guarantor and because she had a ccj they wouldnt let us have the property unless we found another guarantor.
i would think that phoning them today is a little early as its prob best to leave it until mon or tues.i know how it feels when youre eager to move in.....seems to take forever.
good luck and let us know how it goes.
  • oh wow, thats excellent,so you better start packing then lol.best wishes for your new start.
