Morning all. Sorry, I haven't read back I will try to later.

Not at work yet - still in my dressing gown actually! :) In late this morning as I have my blood test at 10.30am so I'll go in after that.

Booking hotels for my next to Orchestra concerts - Basingstoke in June and Pentre in September. Got a good deal on the Holiday Inn in Newport for September, just working on June. A travelodge will do but the Holiday In Newport was actually only a couple of quid more which seemed worth it.

Going out with the girls in the office for dinner after work today, to a Mexican.

And it's sunny again - apparently we're gonna get something around 19 degrees today - excellent, might wear my dress!

  • Good morning to all in this shiny new Inn :D May you all be blessed with luck!

Sorry I did not have time to post in here yesterday, it took me so long to read back and I was moved by all the messages of support. Thank you all so much for thinking of me, it truly does make one massive difference.

The court accepted that after thorough investigations we ARE good parents and they do not want intervention with our remaining kids let alone remove them, which makes it all the more nonsense that they gave LO to her father. The 'expert' was there, and although at the start he was insisting that we have close supervision with LO for two years he is now backing off and washing his hands of the decisions, saying that it can be reviewed in three months and it is up to those supervising what they want to do to loosen the reigns. He had no choice in reality as all the supervisors have been reporting that we are close and loving parents who have done nothing wrong! But still, there is no way to undo the injustice.

At least no more damage has been done, but our legal aid is now finished so I am alone in this which means if anything controversial crops up I will have to walk away from seeing LO ever again as I am no longer strong enough to take maulings from the system and have to be there for my other DD.

The most shocking thing was the 'Guardian' telling the judge we don't want to see LO - unbelievable! He has never even spoken to us since he took her! How do these people have such power to say things without basis that can ruin childrens lives? Our legal team told us not to complain though as he has the power to stop us ever seeing LO again. The 'Justice' system?!?!

Anyway, sorry to rant!!!! The Home Office domestic violence team are in Exeter today gathering grass roots knowledge so I am going with a supporter as this is a great opportunity to be heard and let those higher up know what is being done by the Family Courts. And the sun is shining. And we have a gorgeous new Inn. Hopefully we will not need a losers corner :)

    Coffee anyone?

  • Bad start to day again, DD still not found her other glasses. Her & a friend were up there tidying the room last night, in 2 hours they managed to make DD's top bunk bed - that's it! DD isn't talking to me at the moment because I've told her the 2 friends that were coming for tea tonight are no longer coming so I'm worst mummy now, not that I'm bothered LOL

P.S Just had my recliner delivered that I won, can't get it out of box yet though but hoping weather nice this weekend so I can use it xx
