Well! My daughter now has her lappy back! BUT she could have had it back Wednesday had she not been a complete and utter moron!! :rolleyes:
It turns out, much to my embarrassment as I was the one dealing with the engineer
That she had left the wrong AC adapter out on Wednesday when he was here and that's why it wasn't working!! :mad::mad: Stupid child, she's lucky it didn't blow the new motherboard, she'd left the one for her portable CD drive rather than the lappy!
Fortunately he was a really nice man and was very nice about it all and just finished loading all the drivers etc and left her the new cable he brought as a spare, so all's well that ends well I guess
That ain't working! That's the way to do it, money for nothing and TV's for free
