    Well! My daughter now has her lappy back! BUT she could have had it back Wednesday had she not been a complete and utter moron!! :rolleyes:

    It turns out, much to my embarrassment as I was the one dealing with the engineer :o That she had left the wrong AC adapter out on Wednesday when he was here and that's why it wasn't working!! :mad::mad: Stupid child, she's lucky it didn't blow the new motherboard, she'd left the one for her portable CD drive rather than the lappy!

    Fortunately he was a really nice man and was very nice about it all and just finished loading all the drivers etc and left her the new cable he brought as a spare, so all's well that ends well I guess :D
    That ain't working! That's the way to do it, money for nothing and TV's for free ;)

    At least it wasn't you Nicky!! That reminds me off when I was shouting at SKY for cutting my broadband and phone off, only to find that one of the kids had unplugged the phone cable from the socket!! hehe!

    LOL, was just popping in while I have a connection to ask if we had any more Heart itunes winners today?!?!? I guess not!
